The Rotaract Club of Jai Hind College Model United Nations has been organized by the Rotaract Club of Jai Hind College for the past 5 years, this being the 6th. It has a concrete place in Jai Hind College and is recognized by many youngsters across Mumbai.
2009: RCJCMUN was conceptualized in this year and took off from this point on to become a legacy of Rotaract Club of Jai Hind College and Jai Hind College itself. With around 2 committees and 78 delegates, it was a good start to something that was growing its roots.
2010: RCJCMUN 10 grew by leaps and bounds this year when it saw 3 committees and press with around 152 delegates. The event in the year had affiliation with UTV Bindass and Chirag Din. This conference was graced by the presence of Shobha De and Rahul Bose for the grand closing ceremony.
2011: RCJCMUN 11 saw the biggest growth in this year with 4 committees and a press with a massive delegation of 221 delegates over all the three days of the conference. RCJCMUN 11had a partnership with Bombay Talkies, I by Imtiaz, Liberty Oil Mills, Citi Bank, SIDBI Bank, HDFC Ergo, Naari (A Sari outlet), Bharat Student and Hamlet To Globe. For the very first time we collaborated with United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan we were one of the first conferences to achieve this collaboration. The conference was ranked as the third best local conference in the year. It also had the best quality executive board.
2012: RCJCMUN 12 saw a participation of 152 delegates with a tie up with Tata Infrastructure, Soam Restuarants, etc. and once again received a tie up with United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan.
2013: RCJCMUN 13 saw a participation of 258 delegates with a tie up with Rotary Club, and once again received a tie up with United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan.
